This lovely figurine of a baby's shoe is delicate and beautiful. As a reminder of a child's growth or as part of a collection, this is truly an heirloom piece. Originally created in 1930 for Count Albert Apponyi, this pattern features a center motif of a stylized peony surrounded by a garland of leaves with 24K gold rosettes. Particularly striking here on a solid white background with with a thin accent band of gold. Hand painted in Hungary. 4-1/2" long.
